A 26 year old Aiken man charged with disorderly conduct in New Ellenton. Burglaries reported on Holder Road and Green Valley Circle. Ladder stolen after it fell from a Williston man’s truck on Charleston Highway. A vehicle stolen from Edgefield Highway.

Man faces child pornography charge in Georgia
Harlem man Jason L Genitski was arrested on Mar tintown Road in North Augusta and charged by ICE with knowingly possessing material containing images of child pornography. The indictment alleges images of a prepubescent minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct transported across state lines. Genitski faces trial in the U S Southern District Court of Georgia Augusta Division.

Police Woman jailed for ID theft
Angela Bernice Redd, 35, of Joyner Pond Road, was jailed on charges including dis orderly conduct and a probation violation after attempting to open a bank account with a stolen identity. Police found a purse tied to her in a vehicle stop containing items from another woman and a small bag of what appeared to be meth amphetamine.

Horse Dies at Full Gallop Farm Cross Country
Indra Rapinchuk-Souccar rode 18 year old Dream Girl in a February 1 Horse Trials at Full Gallop Farm when the mare fell at a fence. The horse died on site. Rapinchuk-Souccar suffered a broken femur and had surgery at Children’s Hospital of Georgia. Autopsy planned per Eventing Association policy.

North Augusta native and former North Augusta High School basketball standout Pamela Butler, 32, died in a motorcycle crash in North Raleigh, North Carolina. She had played college basketball and volleyball at Albany State. The driver Bellazar Toledo-Garcia faced charges of death by motor vehicle and two traffic offenses.
