Hitchcock Woods conservation easement talks continue
City officials and the Hitchcock Woods Foundation discussed placing land under a conservation easement to protect natural resources and future avoidance of road widening. The effort may include wooded endangered species surveys aiming to preserve the area if approved by the SCDNR and aligned with the Conservation Easement Act.
