Alaska board ends capuchin monkey permits and expands exotic cat rules
Alaska Board of Game completed a four day session restricting capuchins to new permits and removing chimpanzees from the allowed list. The panel raised the criteria for the so called clean list from five to nine and approved hybrid cats with four generations removed from wild ancestry. The decision affects owners with chimpanzees already registered and raises questions about Simon the Savannah cat’s return eligibility.
