Army Reserve Sgt Alton L Finley has returned to the United States after deployment to an overseas forward operating location as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Finley, a combat engineer with the 505th Engineer Battalion in Kings Mountain North Carolina, has six years of service and is the son of Lars and Marilyn Swanson of Aiken South Carolina. He graduated from South Aiken High School in 1999.
