Bogus cashier checks flood area as forgeries rise
In Charleston area a Goose Creek woman faced arrest after trying to deposit two nearly $20,000 cashier's checks that police say were bogus. Mount Pleasant police probe a $27,000 cashier's check used to pay for a truck, though the bank says the original was only $15.
