Train Collision Near Graniteville Sends Two to Hospital
Two Aiken residents, 23 year old Supreme Saintoiry and 31 year old Aven ous Lee, were taken to Augusta hospital in fair condition after their car struck an oncoming train on S.C. 191 in Graniteville at 12 15 am. They were reported in good condition later at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital.

Columbia South Carolina coach Joe Morrison who elevated the Gamecocks to national prominence died at 51 from a heart attack after a racquetball session at Williams Brice Stadium. He collapsed roughly thirty minutes after playing with three friends and was pronounced dead at Providence Hospital.

Man Hospitalized After 7200 Volt Shock Incident
Charles Stephen Crosby, 28, of Lincolnton Georgia, was severely burned Saturday when a metal ladder he was using to hang a sign touched a 7200 volt primary line at a new building corner Pine Log and Powderhouse roads.
