South Carolina reels from decommitments ahead of Signing Day
USC faced a wave of defections including four star Arden Key who twice committed to the Gamecocks before choosing LSU. Spurrier Jr notes the large initial target pool as a factor while ESPN and Rivals placed USC’s class near 19th and 21st. The class adds six junior college players and two transfers with Lorenzo Nunez the lone quarterback candidate amid a crowded QB race next spring.
