Eaton pleads guilty in S&L crisis forgery case
Ronald R. Eaton and Nicholas Wallace admit signing the forged will of ESM’s former CFO Alan Novick. Wallace also pleads guilty to a perjury count. Sentencing set for March 26 in Broward Circuit Court. Eaton faces up to five years, Wallace up to ten. Former auditor Jose Gomez testified he forged the will in December 1984 after Novick’s death.
