Hope Center project nears completion with volunteer work discounts
The Hope Center in Aiken aims to finish a multipurpose facility at an estimated cost of 875500 dollars, with about 75 percent completed and volunteers covering roughly half the expense. Co directors Tonya and Scott Shipes moved from Africa last summer to lead the project, while local worker Kevin Hopper reflects on the 2005 Graniteville train crash and his path to helping at Christ Central Institute.
