North Augusta moves to transform riverfront with Civitas led riverfront project linking with Leyland Associates. The plan includes a Greeneway trail and Riverside Park with 40 acres kept for public use as Civitas advances a phased land sale to developers. The Bobby Jones Expressway extension gains momentum, with $65 million state backing and a Georgia contribution to span the river, easing truck traffic and boosting regional access.
