Warrenville teen charged in 1977 Ford pickup theft
Joey Dean Moxley aged 17 of Hillman Drive Warrenville was arrested and charged with car theft connected to the February 1 theft of a gray 1977 Ford pickup valued at 3200 dollars. The vehicle taken from the L and M Cafe parking lot in Gloverville was found within half an hour stuck in a ditch on Hillman Drive.

Second Victim Is Identified In Couchton Fire
The second victim of a Sunday morning fire in Couchton is identified as Craig Stephen Boo Hobbs 19 of Route 2 near Aiken. Kenneth A McDougal 21 also died in the same fire from smoke inhalation at the Route 2 house they shared. The fire cause is under investigation.

Station Owner Seeks Fire Probe In North Augusta Incident
The Aiken County Sheriff’s Department investigates a possible break in and arson at an Exxon station on Martintown Road in North Augusta after a fire shortly after 2 am Wednesday. No arrests. A 1970 Ford Maverick stolen from New Ellenton was recovered near US 278 in Aiken. owner Thomas Douglas Jones located no arrests.
