From Farm Strips to Skies Aiken County Pilot Runs A Visa of Fly
Ingram, 38, a New Holland resident, turned a boyhood fascination with flight into a career. He owns a Mooney plane and an airstrip near his farm, using the craft to commute to Savannah for business. Four years ago he moved with his wife and two sons, opening convenience stores in Wagener and Williston. He values flying for its convenience though recalls a past engine failure that forced a rough soybean-field landing near Savannah River.
