Beech Island Man Allegedly Escapes Patrol Car
Aiken County deputy reports Walter Brian Wade Jr. 30 attempted to escape a patrol car while in custody after a July arrest for possession of less than one gram of meth or cocaine base. Wade and three others were arrested in Warrenville after a stolen vehicle was found with marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside. Wade freed his hand and opened the door from outside, then fled toward a wood line before being recaptured. Wade remains in detention with other arrestees charged with related offenses.
