Teen offered 5000 to kill grandparents in South Carolina
Chester County deputies say 19-year-old S Candis Cohen and 18-year-old Marquaes Buchanan aided by 17-year-old Clayton Watts planned to ambush the grandparents who raised Watts. The grandmother was shot dead. Watts faced as his grandfather found the body. Watts, Cohen, and Buchanan were charged with murder as adults. Watts had recruited them after Watts claimed strict parenting and grades were demanded. The case echoes a 2001 Chester County killing where a 12-year-old shot his grandparents.
