Third pipe bomb found in California in San Diego area

A federal employee in Chula Vista received a pipe bomb mailed Saturday, the third device found in the San Diego area in as many days. The package, which did not detonate, contained two bombs disarmed without injuries. Authorities said the bombs were similar in size and construction to two mailed Thursday and Friday.

Returning 450th Ordnance Company Honored for Bosnia Mission

Officials eye Bobby Jones Expressway extension into South Carolina

Wreck ties up Hitchcock Parkway traffic for an hour

An afternoon crash on Hitchcock Parkway halted traffic for about an hour. A southbound gray Chevrolet van struck a culvert and pole after allegedly avoiding a red light, ending on its side near Troon Way. The driver, a middle aged Black man, was taken to Aiken Regional Medical Centers with a head laceration and no fatalities were reported. The other vehicle’s driver remains unidentified.
