Poll Methodology For Aiken County Voter Survey

The USCA Survey Research Service conducted a tele phone poll of 424 registered Aiken County voters with home phones. Sampling covered all county areas, included unlisted numbers, and used birthday-based within household sampling. The 78 percent response rate yields a margin of error no more than 4.8 percent for the full sample, with larger errors as the sample shrinks. Interviewing ran from early November 1989 for three weeks.
