A tire shop on Edgefield Highway in Ai den County was destroyed by a blaze that began around 8 44 a m extinguished by noon. No injuries were reported as firefighters battled intense fuel from hundreds of tires and the roof collapsed early. A nearby residence was damaged and road access was briefly restricted while debris was cleared.
