Arthur Wise, 46, who was convicted of four counts of murder in the September 15 1997 plant shootings at the R E Phelan facility in Aiken, asks the judge to remove his lawyers and bar family members from testifying as the case enters its punishment phase. The judge refused the request.
Five of six inmates escaped from Alabama's St. Clair Correctional Facility were arrested near an Interstate 40 exit about 50 miles west of Nashville after slipping beneath fences.
