Mack's opens downtown amid pandemic delays and hopes

David Kangas realizes his dream with Mack's, a sandwich shop at 358 Laurens St NW. After a soft opening, the restaurant plans to resume full hours 10:30 am to 6 pm Monday through Saturday starting Jan. 4, offering Boardwalk Special and Hitchcock sandwiches, salads, desserts, and daily specials.
