Rosie the Riveter Park Celebrates WWII Home Front Legacy
Richmond California hosts the Rosie the Riveter World War II Home Front National Historic Park. The site honors women and all workers who powered shipyards, including the Richmond yards that produced 747 ships. Veterans groups and former Rosies describe gritty, precise labor in the shipyards and the park’s evolving exhibits and landmarks.
