Florida boy offered plea in murder case
Florida prosecutor proposes a plea allowing 16 year old Lionel Tate to plead guilty to second degree murder for the 2000 death of 6 year old Tiffany Eunick. If accepted he would serve about three years plus one year house arrest and ten years probation with mandatory psychological treatment. Tate could be released near January 25 pending judge approval. Tate’s appellate attorney says a decision is expected in weeks.

Both snipers convicted but which one pulled the trigger
In Chesapeake Virginia both Lee Boyd Malvo and John Allen Muhammad were convicted for the 2002 Washington area sniper attacks. Jurors found Malvo fired the fatal head shot that killed Linda Franklin, while Muhammad was convicted of another murder without a required finding of who pulled the trigger. Forensic evidence tied both to the rifle and the car equipment.
