Papal envoy visits U S hostages amid Christmas in captivity
Anibale Bugnini the papal envoy to Iran visited 25 to 30 of the 52 U S hostages in Tehran on Christmas morning reporting them in good health and high spirits. Tehran radio said the group remains dispersed with nine still unclear in location. Algerian envoys also met the captives and Iran promised more film and messages from hostages.
