Aiken Parks Department will accept Christmas trees for recycling through January 6 at the H O Weeks Center and Smith Hazel Recreation Center. Upcoming events include Kwanzaa at the Aiken County Library, planetarium shows at RPSEC, auditions for summer scholarships, Toastmasters meetings, 2004 horse activities calendar, and a bridge club launch.

Aiken Technical College begins computer based ASE Certification Testing at its campus Test Center from Jan 20 to Feb 9 2004. Twenty ASE exams cover automobile light truck engine performance and parts with CBT format. Candidates register through ASE by calling 1 800 525 6929 and receive email confirmations after scheduling.
