World-record amphibian study continues after 30 years
At Rainbow Bay in the Savannah River Site, researchers at the University of Georgia Savannah River Ecology Laboratory use a simple low tech fence and buckets to track daily amphibian movement since 1978. Guinness World Records in 1999 recognized it as the longest daily amphibian study, a status unlikely to end soon.
