Riot at California prison injuries five inmates
A prison yard riot at California State Prison Los Angeles County in the Mojave Desert involved 300 to 400 inmates. Five inmates were hospitalized with puncture wounds and 12 with cuts after guards used pepper spray tear gas and wooden bullets to quell the fight.
