Clemson offensive guard Taylor Hearn confirmed on media day that he will declare for the NFL Draft after the season. A redshirt junior from Williston Elko, Hearn has started 28 of 42 career games and logged 707 snaps this season as Clemson eyes a Sugar Bowl clash with Alabama.

USC self imposes penalties for minor recruiting violations
NCAA reported USC coaches violated recruiting rules via off campus outreach to an in state high school. USC fined five thousand dollars, faced loss of two recruits, reduced fall evaluation days, and suspended two assistants for 42 days in Fall 2017 with a high school recruiting ban through Aug 31 2018. The COI deemed the violations minor and intended to close the matter.
