Aiken Public Safety arrested 23 year old Michael Antwon Fuller after he allegedly pulled a pistol on a woman and assaulted her during a ride to the hospital. Fuller is charged with kidnapping first degree criminal sexual conduct unlawful carrying of a pistol and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
The Aiken Center for the Arts offers a painting intensive on December 30 and a New Year workshop on January 3 for children ages 4 to 6 and grades one through eight. Classes run 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with limited enrollment and a $50 daily tuition. ACA members receive 10 percent off.
A 47 year old Aiken man was detained for DUI after a Whiskey Road collision and failing sobriety tests. A New Ellenton woman reported three missing prescription pills from an unlocked car on University Parkway. Multiple vehicle break ins and a counterfeit note incident were also reported on Whiskey Road and nearby areas. An unknown man damaged a car wash on Hitchcock Parkway while attempting to enter the control room. A Wagoner burglary involved loss of money coins a safe a video game console and a firearm. Additional break ins occurred on Broadcast Drive and Ascauga Lake Road. A Beech Island resident reported missing items on Berry Lane.
The Doris C Gravat Detention Center shows bookings for December 19 2013 including Rochale Peterson Arsenio Evans Phillip Canty John Smith Akeem Jean Jerry Wyndham Michael Caldwell Shaheem Ingram Marvin Taylor Johnny Chavis Leonard Lopez Elijah Pontoon and others. Several entries note bonds held or awaiting further action with holds for state agencies and national crime information centers.
All locations close except Whiskey Road which will reopen at 2 pm on Christmas Day. The notice emphasizes limited hours and a single location operating during the holiday.
