Reacher review notes flaws in cleverness and tone
The Jack Reacher film adaptation from One Shot stars Tom Cruise as the ex Army investigator. A Pittsburgh riverfront sniper case unfolds with Joseph Sikora and David Oyelowo in key roles. Werner Herzog appears as a villain while the plot follows Reacher’s suspicions about a perfect homicide setup and escalating danger.
