Santa suit suspect posts 100000 bail on kidnapping charge

John Michael Barton, 55, dressed as Santa Claus, posted 100000 bail after taking an 8 year old girl on a ride in his motorcycle sidecar for about a mile near Augusta Georgia. Barton claims it was a misunderstanding and says he gives rides to children during the season. The girl was not injured and Barton was later found hiding in a bar utility room. He faces a kidnapping charge with up to 30 years possible.
