North Augusta Man Arrested in Burglary Case
North Augusta, S C. Andrew Torel Rouse 26 of 2828 Casalina Drive was jailed on first degree burglary charges after deputies say he entered a Delahanty Court residence while the 22 year old woman was inside Rouse reportedly argued with the victim earlier over a fraudulent check and fled as police were called Deputies found methamphetamine pipes on Rouse who claimed he only wanted the money the victim owed him and did not steal items.

Armed robbery reported at Star Mini Mart in Aiken
The Aiken Department of Public Safety investigated an armed robbery at Star Mini Mart on Richland Avenue and Union Street around 8:30 p.m. A black male in his early 20s wearing Woodland camouflage and a white scarf fled. Separately, a dog injured by two gunshots on Aldrich Street was found after a blood trail. two 9 mm shell casings were recovered and the dog is expected to recover.
