Secret Santa brings joy to hundreds of Aiken County children
For 28 years Secret Santa at South Aiken Presbyterian has provided gifts to families with low incomes. This year almost 400 children will receive toys, with 19 bikes including helmets funded through Academy Sports. Mindy Hand leads the effort, with volunteers shopping, wrapping, and distributing to ensure children receive two to three gifts and parents can list preferences. The program relies on community and congregation support, with repeat donors returning after improving times to sponsor new families.
