Two teenagers, Joshua McLaughlin 15 and Mathew Morris 14, died in a cave-in at an excavation on the McLaughlin property in New Ellenton Aiken County. Coroner Tim Carlton said the youths were buried under dirt while playing near a hill section being dug. McLaughlin’s guardians reported him missing after church Sunday. bodies were found around 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. on the scene.
