Army recruits graduate and students win honors in South Carolina
U S Army Pvt Blake T Richardson graduates from basic infantry training at Fort Jackson after nine weeks of drills focusing on weapon skills map reading and field tactics. Richardson is the son of Da vid A. Casto of Aiken and a 2015 Aiken High School graduate. Catherine Barrett of Aiken earns Who's Who Among Students and attends Newberry College. Lindsey Patton of North Augusta joins the Sigma Sigma Sigma Eta Beta Chapter at Newberry College. Private Tiberius L Poole also graduates basic training at Fort Jackson, son of Sandra Gamble of Trenton and 2015 Strom Thurmond High School graduate. Stevee Booth of Warrenville is inducted into the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society at Lander University.
