Ballots Counted Tomorrow in Aiken County Five Race

Challenged ballots in the Aiken County Council District Five race will be counted tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the county office complex. Democrat Bill K. Trapp leads Republican L. Kline Paulk by five votes. a new election could be ordered if the margin remains six votes or less.

Suspects From Robbery Leave Van Near Bettis

Two black males robbed Barton's Grocery in Edgefield of a large amount of cash then fled in a white Ford van with North Augusta plates. The abandoned van was found on Graniteville Road near Bettis Academy as dog teams searched for the suspects, believed armed and dangerous, with no injuries reported.

Funds Growing Today Supports Jaycee Christmas Tour

Last chance to donate to the Jaycee Christmas Shopping Tour with 9 AM start at Big E Edwards Store Mitchell Shopping Center. Jaycees with Shiloh Baptist Church and Beta Sigma Phi will assist about 80 underprivileged children selecting clothes and toys, with Edwards offering a 10 percent discount. Salvation Army Cheer Fund Reaches Target to Aid Needy

The Salvation Army reports 7126.58 raised for its Christmas Cheer Fund to assist area families. Donations may be sent to 322 Gayle Dr. Prominent contributors include Jessie Ergie, Donald Byriey, G O Robinson, Loton Rasmussen, Lelia Bradley, Albert Carter, and NH Kuenhaut among others.

Joseph finds a cave for animals as the last option. The scene ends with Mary asking to be taken to the place where she will give birth.
