Sanl center a game changer for SRNL facility
An independent cost review estimates the SANL off site advanced manufacturing center would cost 44.4 to 83.2 million dollars. SRNS and Savannah River National Lab seek partners to develop a 70 000 square foot site with chemistry labs fabrication space and offices aiming for mid to late 2018 occupancy. Will Callicott cites DOE funding to lease the facility with potential developer input via an RFQ in early 2016. Economic Development Partnership of Aiken Edgefield and Saluda counties groups consider joining the project.
