Woman killed in Monetta two car crash on US Highway 1
A Monetta woman, Geneva Small, 47, died Saturday evening in a two car crash on US Hwy 1 near Monetta. The Lincoln Continental allegedly ran a stop sign into the Ford Escort carrying Small, who was not wearing a seat belt. Clyde Smith, 78, and his wife Francis, 76, were in the Lincoln. Small died at Lexington County Hospital after an autopsy noted multiple body traumas.

Cracked pipe at SCE&G plant sparks US testing
