South Carolina employers should plan company events carefully especially with alcohol to avoid lawsuits. Lawyer Mike Carrouth notes risks from cash bars and affiliate behavior problems at parties, citing a Fisher Phillips study showing 36 percent of employers reported problems such as excessive drinking fights and sexual advances.
Aiken Technical College veterinary assistant program held a Saturday class at the Aiken SPCA led by Kristina Stoner with Shannon Phillips handling temperament training and Stephanie Crane directing obedience. Phillips noted temperament guides obedience while behavior can change through training.
