Man charged with breaking into cars at North Augusta High
Vernon Harold Fields twenty of Watkins Street was charged with seven counts of breaking into motor vehicles and causing more than 32100 in damages at North Augusta High School after a public safety officer heard glass breaking and a car alarm in the school parking lot. He was stopped in the lot driving a green truck. Fields is held at the Aiken County Detention Center on a 17500 bond.
