The Florida Supreme Court may rule on Gore appeal of the Leon County Circuit Court recount case as Martin and Seminole County courts plan to issue rulings on absentee ballot challenges this afternoon. The Florida legislature is expected to select a second set of electors. Gore lawyer David Boies notes that inconsistent manual recounts would render the election defective if present in several counties.
