Woman Dies After SUV Leaves Road in South Carolina Ravine
Valencia Moorer of Columbia died after her 1995 Toyota 4Runner veered into the median at the 16 mile marker, overcorrected, struck a tree, and plunged 50 feet into a ravine. Airlifted to the Medical College of Georgia, she died about three hours later in surgery. Alcohol test negative.

Bostick waives jury trial in baby shaking case
Aiken man Saquan T. Bostick, 30, waived a jury trial and opted for a bench trial in the infliction of great bodily injury upon a child case. Makaylia Coleman, then 16 months old, survived after severe shaking at a University Parkway apartment and was hospitalized nearly a month. The trial, at the Aiken County Judicial Center, will be decided by the judge based on presented evidence.

Parents charged with child neglect in Aiken incident
