Belvedere residents rally against 93 mill water tax
More than 500 residents opposed the Belvedere Water and Sewer District 93 mill tax levy. The Committee for Tax Reform plans to present a petition to abolish the district and the tax. A straw vote showed 436 against and 23 in favor as residents heard from builders on the feasibility of acquiring the water system.
