Aiken County gets new 50 bed general hospital plan
University Health Care System moves to file a South Carolina Certificate of Need for University Hospital Aiken a 50 bed 53 million general acute care facility at the Tukley Line Road and Robert M Bell Parkway intersection. It will offer diagnostic cardiac catheterization general surgery vascular orthopedics and emergency care with no obstetrics initially. James R. Davis says the goal is closer safer high quality care for residents of Aiken and surrounding areas.
