Aiken Standard photographers captured the holiday parades across the county showcasing floats, bands, and festive crowds as residents enjoyed seasonal displays. Images highlight community spirit and local participants in multiple parade routes.

No parking on Laurens Street northbound by storefront or median. Southbound traffic and parking reopen. No parking for large trucks on Park Avenue. Park Avenue closed past Union Street toward Laurens Street. No northbound traffic on Union Street bridge after 1 p.m. Jens Street area to be used for assembly. Union and Orangeburg avenues marked for steps.
The parade starts at 2:00 p.m. traveling west on Park Avenue from Union Street then turns left onto Laurens Street and ends at Barnwell Avenue around 3:00 p.m. Closures begin about 1:30 p.m. with parking rules for large vehicles and no candy thrown. Best viewing on Laurens Street and Park Avenue sidewalks. Santa Claus highlighted.
Free refreshments will be served in front of First Presbyterian Church on Barnwell Avenue after the police end their cordon. Authorities request residents keep clear of barriers as traffic is rerouted and slowed starting at noon today to accommodate the security measures.
