Argentine groomer gets eight years in stabbing case

Fernan do H. Roldan, 23, pleaded no contest to assault and battery with intent to kill, injuring former coworker Dario Repillo and unintentionally cutting Andrea Turley after a drunken dispute over a woman. Judge William Keesley gave eight years with 85 percent service and two years community supervision. deportation is likely after release.

Stolen Habitat for Humanity Trailer Reported Missing

Police blotter notes a unity trailer unpainted with wooden sides stolen from Park Avenue business between 29 and Monday. The trailer bore Habitat for Humanity branding, Aiken County land sticker, and Virginia state inspection sticker. Also impounded a two year old male rat terrier after it attacked a neighbor’s dog on Solann Street. A Richland Avenue used car lot suffered a Tuesday night break in with $500 damage and a $200 amplifier stolen.
