South Carolina Electric and Gas spokesman Rudy Coward says the United Mine Workers strike has prompted a 100 day coal stockpile of 800000 tons at SCE&G. He warns higher energy costs as coal prices rise to 25 dollars a ton plus eight dollars delivery.
