Hopelands lights go up for 15th Christmas event

City workers and volunteers prepare Hopelands Gardens for the 15th annual Christmas in Hopelands. From December 9 to 12 and 14 to 19 and 21 to 23 and 26 and 27, the displays will run 6 to 9 p.m. daily. Alicia Davis, recreation coordinator, says nearly 100000 lights will illuminate the scene, exceeding last year’s display.
