Inmate Attack at Lieber Prison Leaves Guard Hospitalized
A guard at Lieber Correctional Institution near Ridgeville was beaten by at least two inmates about 9 a.m. Wednesday and admitted to a hospital with non life threatening injuries. Inmates were placed in isolation and the prison remained secure by afternoon. Names of those involved were not released.
