Sanford lauds Fox Creek High as model for school choice
South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford visited Fox Creek High School in Edgefield County near North Augusta praising its public charter model and cost efficiency. He argued for expanded school choice, noting the campus cost 5.8 million funded by a Rural Development loan and highlighting custodial outsourcing as a cost saver. He said no tax money was used and predicted increased options and competition across states.
