True Value marks 61 years serving Aiken community
James William Bill Franklin founded Economy Auto and built a family hardware business that evolved into True Value Hardware & Appliance in downtown Aiken. Now run by co owners Lyanne and Det Haislip with Del Haislip, the store honors four generations of customers and 61 years of community trust while supporting other small businesses during COVID-19. The Haislip family recalls Toyland memories, Helping Hands gifts, and a commitment to service through hard times.
