Teal Fountain Opens Ovarian Cancer Awareness Drive

In Aiken the Newberry Street fountain was turned teal during a Wednesday ceremony to mark National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. Gail's Anatomy founders Debbie Mills and Alicia Owens poured dye, joined by Dr Todd Wright and city officials, as teal bows went up downtown. Mills, whose daughter Gail died of ovarian cancer at 30 in 2007, began fundraising with Relay for Life before forming Gail's Anatomy to educate women about the disease.
